Hello, I’m Charda!
pronounced “Shar-day”
I am a SAG-Aftra Eligible actress, actor-combatant, model, dancer, and singer based currently in Los Angeles, CA. I was born in ‘98 a half African-American/ half Jamaican baby and was then raised in the 313 (Detroit, Michigan). I have been acting since the first grade. At my elementary school, we were required to be in the plays. I was just the kid who loved it. It was since then I knew I wanted to be an actress and stayed in theater growing up. My mother always called me “her star” and put me in a ton of artistic endeavors as well. I began dance when I was three years old. I began with ballet, jazz, tap, modern, and went on to do modern, hip hop, lyrical, and concluded with Pomerette style dance in high school. I also took singing lessons as a child and grew up in choir. In high school, I was also a member of Mosaic Youth Theater of Detroit. I went on to follow my true love and received my BFA in Acting from the University of Michigan in 2020 and am a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. Some of my most notable roles include: a principal role in Black History Month Campaign “Awakened” for Pandora Radio, BET 45th anniversary commercial “The Garden”, the lead role of Venus in Crack which can be seen on Amazon Prime, the lead role of Tiffany in Consequences which can be seen on Tubi, and the role of Andrea in film Block Party of which had a theatrical release and can now be seen on BET+.
I am represented by Starburst Talent Agency for theatrical and Circle Talent Agency for commercial.
